A Place of Hope Small Dog Rescue (formerly known as Flori Bama Small Breed Rescue) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit small dog rescue located in Pensacola, Florida. We are committed to rescuing, rehabilitating, and re-homing small dogs in northwest Florida and lower Alabama. We take in owner-surrenders, strays, and shelter dogs. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a facility. All of the dogs in our care live in private homes with a foster family in and around the Pensacola area getting lots of TLC until they are adopted. Each dog is carefully evaluated for placement in a home best suited to it's needs and personality. We do vet checks and home visits for each adoption.

Dogs over 1 year of age receive a ProHeart 12 shot for heartworm prevention. We also do dentals and surgeries as medically recommended. Adoption fees average between $250-$500.
